Job DescriptionThe Night Auditor position is critical to ensuring the financial integrity and guest satisfaction of our hotel during night-time operations. This role demands a high level of responsibility, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.
Serve as the primary point of contact for guests during night-time hours, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanour at all times.Meticulously monitor and manage late-night arrivals, ensuring all guest requests are fulfilled with utmost efficiency and care.Uphold the hotel's commitment to honouring all reservations, addressing any discrepancies or issues with urgency and professionalism.Diligently address and resolve all matters pertaining to guest satisfaction, ensuring thorough follow-up and documentation.Execute the night audit process with precision, adhering strictly to established hotel standards and procedures.Compile and distribute all required reports to relevant departments with accuracy and timeliness.Scrutinize all postings from the day shift, making necessary corrections to maintain financial accuracy.Conduct thorough checks of all guest balances, ensuring authorized limits adequately cover estimated guest expenses.Rigorously review and verify the method of payment for each guest account, making corrections where necessary.Carefully examine routing instructions for all guest accounts, modifying as required to ensure proper billing.Prepare and organize all back-up documents for next-day departures, ensuring they are ready for managerial review.Perform meticulous reconciliation of outlet banking and summary sheets across all areas.Promptly submit and oversee housekeeping and cleaning requests as required, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.QualificationsCollege diploma in hotel management or related field, with minimum 2 years' experience in Front OfficeProficiency with Front Office Systems and property management softwareExcellent written and spoken English with exceptional customer service skillsStrong numerical and analytical skills for accurate financial reportingAbility to work independently and make decisions during night shiftsFlexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as requiredKnowledge of cash handling procedures and financial reconciliationStrong problem-solving skills to address guest concerns efficientlyAdditional InformationProvide three traceable referees with the contact details and valid emails addresses.
