Night Laundry Attendant

Laundry Attendants are an essential part of the Housekeeping Team and of the Hotel. Afterall, you cannot have a clean room without a clean bed!

Work Performed: 

Laundry Attendants are responsible for the following duties and assignments: 

Sort soiled linens and terry.Stain treat laundry to ensure longevity of the linens and terry.Use laundering equipment and the correct amounts of proper chemicals to safely and thoroughly clean and press linen.Ensure usage of approved cleaning chemicals.Be able to set the pace of the laundry room through time management.Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry room and linen storage areas.Uphold departmental standards of quality of work and timeliness set forth by Atrium guidelines.May be required to train newly hired associates and support on-going performance development.Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property, report damage, theft and found articles to supervisor.Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, report equipment problems and maintenance issues, accidents, injuries and safety hazards, or unsafe work conditions to leadership; and Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position. 

Preferred Prior Experience: 

Previous hotel laundry experience or other applicable laundry experience  

Preferred Education: 

High school diploma or equivalent  

Physical: 

Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs occasionally and 20lbs regularly 

Able to bend and squat repeatedly 

Able to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift  

Other: 

Available to work evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
