About the role
The Night Manager supervises the staff of the entire hotel during the overnight shift. They work closely with the staff from all departments to assure that standards are being met. They are the direct supervisor of the Front Desk during the overnight shift Responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons policies.
What you will do
The ability to conduct all opening procedures including obtaining pool keys, unlocking all cabinets, setting up amenities, and phones. The ability to provide information and assistance to hotel guests as requested, give them an orientation, have them register and is familiar with all hotel services and hours of operation. The ability to anticipate and service of guests' requirements before requests are necessary. The ability to serve and clear food and beverage items in an unobtrusive and professional manner.
What you bring
The person we seek will be College degree qualified in Hospitality Management, and have a minimum of five years hotel Rooms Division experience rooms, including at least three years in an Assistant Department Head position.
You will have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, good problem solving ability and be proficient in Hotel property management systems, in particular Opera and Micros Fidelio. You will be fluent in reading, writing and spoken English language skills. Strong supervisory and managerial skills are essential, with outstanding demonstrated coaching and development skills.
Must be flexible and work overnight, but not limited to other shifts during the day or evening as required by the operation.
