Responsible for Shift Packaging Production in a 135MM lb/year pasta manufacturing facility. Specifically responsible for ensuring Safe work practices, Quality specifications are met and Food Safety/Quality procedures are followed, Developing/Compliance to Standard Work procedures, and adherence to production scheduling/staffing requirements.
Responsible for cross-functional collaboration with Processing, Maintenance, Shipping, and Quality departments to provide active leadership in support of Daily Operations.

Full shift responsibility in the absence of Supervisor. Required to effectively administer the Company Handbook in addition to providing operational/maintenance leadership and decision making with the advice and counsel of the Department Manager. Takes direction from Staff members and clearly executes the plan of action. Conducts him/herself as a representative of the leadership team for the company and provides direction, coaching, and discipline as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent GED certification. Some college preferred.
Minimum Experience: 3 years of Leadership in a Manufacturing Environment (Food/Pharma preferred) or equivalent operating experience in dry pasta manufacturing with proven leadership.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: - General knowledge of basic computer operation, including Microsoft Office
applications.
Ability to enter data and parameters into equipment touch screens is required.Ability to independently analyze and solve problems.Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic maintenance are essential.Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Food Defense, BRC and OSHA requirements is preferred.Ability to manage/resolve conflict is essential.Skilled at training and developing team members.Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, written and oral communication skills are equally important.MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position is in a manufacturing facility with temperatures 90–115 degrees, relative humidity 50-70%, and machinery noise. Hearing protection, steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and hair restraints are required. Plant uniforms are provided and must be worn at all times in the factory.
