**Overview**
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented **Janitorial Afternoon/Night Project Manager** to oversee custodial operations in an educational setting. This role ensures that all cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, meeting high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in janitorial services, and the ability to manage a team working night shifts.
**Schedule:**
This position is **full-time** , and candidates must be available from **10:00 AM - 12:00 PM** .
**Pay: $65,000.00/yr**

**Key Responsibilities:**
**Operations Management:**
+ Oversee nightly janitorial services for educational facilities, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to standard.
+ Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
+ Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper usage.
+ Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
**Team Leadership & Supervision:**
+ Manage and direct a team of custodial staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
+ Assign tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient workflow and coverage.
+ Conduct routine inspections to ensure quality control and address any deficiencies.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for janitorial staff, addressing concerns and resolving issues as they arise.
**Quality Assurance & Compliance:**
+ Conduct routine site inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met.
+ Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and service quality.
+ Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety guidelines.
**Qualifications & Requirements:**
+ Previous experience in janitorial management, facility maintenance, or a similar leadership role.
+ Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment used in educational environments.
+ Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
+ Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to flexible scheduling based on school events or emergencies.
+ Strong communication skills to interact with staff, school administrators, and vendors.
+ Proficiency in using facility management software and reporting tools is a plus.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Ability to stand, walk, and perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.
+ Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed.
+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with various cleaning equipment.
**Work Environment:**
+ Primarily in educational facilities, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and administrative offices.
+ Work is performed during nighttime hours to ensure minimal disruption to school operations.
