Our Reach Truck Operators start at $23.12 an hour. We are looking for Reach Truck Operators who relish the chance to push their potential, grow and reap the rewards of joining the US FOODS® family.

Main Ingredients 

Transport pallet loads of product from the dock to the correct warehouse slot using powered industrial equipment, ensuring all pallets are securely placed to avoid damage or injury during product selection. 

Replenish pick slots with product from reserve slots to maintain inventory levels for night shift selection. 

Operate and maintain reach trucks to deliver top-notch quality, ensuring they are consistently clean and in optimal operational condition.  

Perform operations and safety checks, including battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguisher. 

Record all products, equipment, and warehouse damage. 

Conduct thorough end-of-shift wipe-downs of reach trucks and other equipment, ensuring impeccable cleanliness and functionality.  

Maintain aisle cleanliness by removing debris from the floor and racks. 

Always follow safety policies and practices. 

What You Bring to The Table  

Qualifications 

Education/Training: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. 

Related Experience: Job related certification for Material Handling Equipment. Prior Selector experience is preferred. 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Able to read and write legibly; basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide). Must be able to understand Voxware commands.

Great Reach Truck Operators are crucial to the US FOODS® team and one of the important faces of our organization. Our Reach Truck Operators strive for integrity and reliability while building trusting relationships with customers.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.  The expected compensation for this role is between $21.00 per hour. and $24.00 per hour.
