Applicants will be placed into the appropriate job title and salary based on their individual experience and education. The Medical Lab Scientist’s salary starts at $24.74/hour!

Automated testing lab including the following departments:  Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Microbiology, and Specimen Processing departments. This position will support the ATL as well as Microbiology, which will include planting, gram staining, Covid analysis, kit testing to name a few. Interact courteously and professionally with laboratory customers. Respond promptly to telephone inquiries. Follow established procedures for specimen collection and processing. Perform accurate qualitative and quantitative analytical procedures. Recognize critical test results and take appropriate action. Maintain equipment, perform quality control checks, and manage supplies. Stay knowledgeable about techniques and principles. Assist with test development and evaluation. Perform High Complexity Testing without direct supervision Assume temporary first-line supervision as needed. Train new employees, students, and residents.
