NIGHT SHIFT PRODUCTION MANAGER
**Description** **POSITION:** **NIGHT SHIFT PRODUCT MANAGER** **Hours** : + 2nd shift - flexible as needed **Responsibilities & Expectations** : + Frequent communication with all levels of employees and management concerning all aspects of operations. + Frequent communication with customers, suppliers, equipment representatives, USDA and others concerning all aspects of operations. + Ensure maximum potential value for each product. + Monitor all plant operations; encourage and confirm correct procedures are being followed to maximize value and increase productivity. + Audit products manually and receive audits to verify proper procedures and efficiency. + Communicate in person and by phone with customers to increase satisfaction and knowledge of available products. + Examine previous day’s yields for variances and problems; determine reasons for variances develop solutions/new procedures and implement as needed. + Arrange to have appropriate production records prepared and maintained. + Attend and schedule appropriate meetings. + Willing to travel when as needed or required. + Perform various other duties as needed. **Qualifications** : · Must have extensive knowledge of the Operation and the industry + Previous management experience in meat processing industry. + Knowledge and technical skills in a variety of production jobs + College preferred but not required + Computer skills, knowledge of office software necessary + Ability to handle conflict; interpersonal skills. + Understand and comply with Company policy and procedures + Great communications skills, both verbal and written + Excellent organizational, math and statistical skills + Good work history and attendance + Team Player with leadership skills + Ability to stand/walk for long periods + Resume required + **REQUIRED** : Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation + **FOR SALARIED ROLES** : As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations.
