DESCRIPTION:

As a Superintendent at Tutor Perini Building Corp., reporting to the Senior Superintendent, you will have the opportunity to:

Assist the Senior Superintendent with the day-to-day coordination of trade contractors and their sub-contractors and ensuring they turn out high-quality work that meets the approved project schedule Assist the project team with advance planning and coordination of work activities with the subcontractor(s), project owner and other stakeholders to assure seamless workflow and minimize delays Track and document completed work Help keep general conditions and site services within budget Help develop, document, communicate, and enforce the work plan, including changes made in the field by Tutor Perini Maintain a thorough understanding of contract documents to be able to anticipate and communicate potential problems before they arise Enforce safety and housekeeping compliance with all trades Enforce quality control policies with all trades Conduct maintenance and planning of “work-arounds,” shutdowns and tie-ins Establish credibility among owners, trade contractors, and unions by maintaining a fair and trustworthy environment Help ensure critical infrastructure is protected during the course of the work Lead subcontractor meetings when required Complete daily reports and documentation using Procore Manage and assist with updating of the project schedule and creating and implementing contingency plans when necessary Communicate schedule status, updates and changes to Project Team and Trade Contractors Plan, coordinate, and manage jobsite logistics Coordinate with Office and Field Engineers

REQUIREMENTS:

Positive attitude and problem-solving mentality High school diploma or GED Previous experience as a Superintendent. Aviation experience preferred but not mandatory Experience working with schedules, logistics, reporting, coordinating subcontractors Experienced in MS Office, Procore and familiarity with Primavera P6 or similar software Overnight/shift work
