NOC Technician
Description We are looking for a NOC Technician to support network operations from 11pm - 7am, onsite. Responsibilities: • Engage telecom providers and monitor the network management system to drive restoral efforts. • Keep incident details updated in the incident management tool with accurate information in a timely manner. • Work with the team to resolve moderate to complex issues with critical customer services. • Use discretion to interpret and apply established processes to avoid prolonged or wider spread failures. • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, and escalate network issues as necessary. • Participate in the design and configuration of network solutions. • Provide customers with guidance to resolve problems, with a focus on attention to detail. • Train on three all NOC 3 positions: Transport, DataLink, Applications. • Ensure the continuous monitoring of network components, ground station/radios, and central processing systems. • Maintain the daily flow of millions of messages through the continuous monitoring of central channels connected to routers. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Customer Service • Excellent Communication skills • Experience in Training others • Ability to Design and implement tech solutions • Proficiency in Troubleshooting various tech issues • Understanding of Networks and related technologies • Familiarity with industry Practices and standards • Ability to handle and resolve Queries efficiently • Proven ability to Resolve Issues in a timely manner • Experience with Configuration Management • Knowledge of various tech Protocols • Ability to Prioritize tasks effectively • Experience with tech Deployments • Ability to work with various Business Units • Knowledge of Computer Hardware • Experience with Disability Claims is a plus • A mindset oriented towards Innovation • Familiarity with Routers and related technologies • Experience in the Telecom industry • Understanding of Bonds and related financial instruments • Knowledge of Firewall Technologies • Language Interpretation skills are a plus • Experience with Circuit Board technology • Understanding of IP Protocol • Proficiency in Cisco Technologies Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
