Job Details Responsibilities The hospitalist supports six (6) closed intensive care units including: a cardiothoracic ICU, a neuroscience ICU, a pediatric ICU, a neonatal ICU, a surgical ICU, and a medical ICU. Subspecialty support in all medical/surgical areas including but not limited to: endocrinology, cardiology, nephrology, pulmonology, urology, interventional radiology, ophthalmology, plastic surgery, oral & maxillofacial surgery, orthopedic surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, thoracic surgery and cardiothoracic surgery. The GSUH hospitalist leads an interdisciplinary team in the comprehensive care of admitted medical patients. The team consists of over twenty full time hospitalists and is expanding to meet the needs of our community. The hospital has broken ground on a new patient care pavilion that will be completed in 2025. There is advanced practice professional (nurse practitioner and physician assistant) support in all areas and residency programs in: Emergency medicine, family practice, podiatry, pediatrics and obstetrics and gynecology. Requirements: Licensed to practice medicine in New York State Board Certified or Board eligible within 3 years with training in internal medicine or family practice New resident graduates are welcome. BCLS and ACLS certified from American Heart Association. No online courses are accepted. Salary Range USD $165.00 - USD $165.00 /Hr.
