Weekend Day Shift

Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, the Surgical Technologist participates as a member of the perioperative nursing team and performs indirect perioperative tasks for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients who are having surgical and surgical endoscopy procedures.  In addition, the Surgical Technologist may be assigned to transport patients, second assisting and serve as a technical expert for a surgical service.

Required Qualifications:

Graduation from a surgical technology program Or equivalent educ/experience Upon hire: Washington Surgical Technologist Registration Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Prior experience as surgical technologist in an acute care facility

Preferred Qualifications:

Upon hire: Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)
