Aston Carter is seeking a skilled NDT Technician looking for an exciting opportunity to work on diverse job sites. Key Responsibilities:Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.Conduct tests to ensure quality and detect defects using NDT methods.Establish techniques for proper examination, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.Apply testing criteria according to specifications or standards and evaluate results.Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters, and visual indicators.Organize and report test results.Perform specialized inspections.Instruct and supervise assistants and Level I Technicians.Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.Required Skills:RadiographyUltrasonic testingNondestructive testingInspectionTop Skills:RadiographyUltrasonic testingNondestructive testingInspectionQualifications:Certified Level II RT (SNT-TC-1A).Minimum 1 year of experience in NDT.Familiarity with industry standards NAS 410 and/or CP-189.Additional certifications in Level II RT, MT, PT, UTT, and CR are preferred.Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.Ability to effectively perform NDT tasks and interpret inspection results.Knowledge of NDT equipment.Experience in report writing.Education:High School Diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).Experience Level:Intermediate LevelJoin us and take your career to the next level with challenging and rewarding projects. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.
