What You Will Do:
Qualifications You Must Have:
1+ years’ experience in any NDT method (i.e. fluorescent penetrant testing, X-Ray, magnetic particle, CT, ultrasonic, etch), OR certification or degree in any NDT method (i.e. fluorescent penetrant testing, X-Ray, magnetic particle, CT, ultrasonic, etch)3+ years of experience working a Quality or related technical role within a manufacturing/ production facilityHigh School Diploma / GED or equivalentU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contractQualifications We Prefer:
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsIntermediate knowledge of MS Office computer software including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsFamiliarity with inspection gauges and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)What You Will Learn: The Pratt & Whitney Site in Asheville, NC implements manufacturing industry 4.0 initiatives, to include state of the art manufacturing processes. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to learn and drive impactful production on some of the newest machines on a greenfield site.

This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. The Re-Empower Program helps support talented and committed professionals as they rebuild their capabilities, enhance leadership skills, and continue their professional journey. Over the course of the 14-week program, experienced professionals will gain paid, on-the-job experience, have an opportunity to participate in sessions with leadership, develop personalized plans for success and receive coaching to guide their return-to-work experience. Upon completion of the program, based on performance and contributions participants will be eligible for a career at RTX.

In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. We’ve introduced role types to help you understand how you will operate in our blended work environment. This role is Onsite. Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
