**Job Title: Non-Destructive Testing Inspector** **Job Description** NDT Evaluation Inspectors are responsible for testing large metal units for nuclear storage. Technicians will utilize principles of SNT-TC-1A Level II in VT, MT, PT, and RT, IRRSP, and NS 250-1500-1. They will document all quality data associated with testing procedures and interpret blueprints. **Responsibilities** + Conduct non-destructive testing of large metal units for nuclear storage. + Utilize principles of SNT-TC-1A Level II in VT, MT, PT, and RT. + Perform inspections in accordance with IRRSP and NS 250-1500-1 standards. + Document all quality data associated with testing procedures. + Read and interpret blueprints. + Perform simple mechanical checks related to the manufacture of welded fabrications and castings. + Complete required documentation associated with nondestructive test procedures in accordance with normal standards. + Work independently without direct supervision and direct co-workers. **Essential Skills** + Level II certification in VT, MT, PT, and RT. + Experience as a Weld Inspector, NDT Inspector, or in non-destructive testing. + Ability to read and understand blueprints. + US Citizenship required at time of hire. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Additional compensation for Level II UT/LT and IRRSP certifications. + Must be able to work Monday-Friday from 3:30 PM to 11:55 PM. **Why Work Here?** We offer an extremely generous benefits package with great health care options. Parts are moved within the facility by large overhead cranes and can weigh up to 138 tons. The environment can be intimidating for those from smaller shops but offers a unique and interesting experience. The shop is not climate controlled and can be dusty and dirty. Safety glasses, steel-toe boots with metatarsal covers, ear protection, and a work uniform will be provided. This is a union facility with 250 total employees across two shifts. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of York, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $70699.20 - $70699.20/yr. Extremely generous Benefits package with great health care discussed at interview. Typically option for $1000 or $2500 deductible and pay about $40/pay for the coverage. PTO - 700 hours = 1 week, 1 year = 2 weeks Benefits: Medical/Vision coverage, effective 30 days of employment Dental/Life coverage, effective 90 days of employment Long-term Disability coverage, effective 1-year employment Holidays: 11 holidays, and you will eligible for holiday after you are employed for 30 calendar days. Paid Excused Absence: You will be eligible for 8 hours of paid excused absence after 90 days of employment. This amount will then increase to 16 hours at the beginning of the year following your start date. Then up to 24 hours the following year and ever year after that.
