Roles and Responsibilities: + Develops maintains and modifies fleet management system for a fleet of approximately 800-1000 vehicles. + Manages carpool, rotation of vehicles, credit card handling, car wash and maintenance programs for the fleet. + Prepares and updates multi-year non-revenue replacement programs and reviews the various stages of the vehicle replacement cycle from preparation of plan to receipt of equipment. Arranges for vehicle retirement and disposal. + Monitors and reviews various reports pertaining to vehicle condition, mileage, accidents/unusual occurrences and fines/violations, fuel purchases/trends, preventative maintenance, and shop maintenance activity. + Recommends modifications based on various analyses, to improve costs and efficiency of programs. + Collaborates with IT to collect and analyze data from vendors, resolves system issues; and develops reports to optimize system performance. + Monitors compliance to various corporate policies, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements. + Assists in financial reporting, reconciliations, and project management. + Other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Education, Experience and Qualifications: + Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, or related area and two (2) years of experience in project management, fleet management, and/or planning required. + Demonstrated capability in the use of analyzing data is desired. + One year of closely related experience can be substituted for each year of education required. Knowledge and Skills: + Demonstrated capability in the use of analyzing data is desired. Proficiency in the use of word processing software, such as Word, Excel and Power Point are required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills desired. Ability to operate both gas powered \ hybrid \ hybrid electric vehicles and all electric vehicles. Experience in asset management software is a plus.
