Nondestructive Examination - Lab Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for NDE Lab Operations (delivery, efficiency, staff development, turnover, etc.)
• Shared responsibility for NDE Lab performance (P&L, revenue growth, SBH, chargeability, etc.)
• Priorities: our clients, our employee owners, and our business.
• Oversee the training of technicians and provide performance development plans.
• Interact with clients and develop new clientele.
• Perform safety audits and quality control reviews of testing and inspection work; identify, investigate, and resolve internal and external quality issues on projects.
• Review projects for efficiency and quality performance.
• Oversee coordination of NDE lab work, lab tasks, monitor lab work status, and complete reports.
• Manage scheduling duties and coordinate staff assignments.
• Manage and approve timesheets and expense reports; assist staff with these tasks.
• Ensure maintenance on equipment calibrate radiation safety equipment.
