Job Description

As a Nonsterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for accurately reading and interpreting prescriptions, processing them in The Compounder system under pharmacist supervision, and compounding orders following specific formulas. You will work with the compounding pharmacist to maintain inventories and uphold the ethical practice of the pharmacy. Additionally, you will provide excellent customer service and engage in continuous improvement and education.

ResponsibilitiesCorrectly read prescriptions, interpret physician intent, and process prescriptions in The Compounder system precisely and efficiently under pharmacist supervision.Prepare the correct formula log sheet for standard items. You will work in a closed-door specialty compounding pharmacy in an aseptic environment. The working hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday. The pharmacy is currently undergoing an expansion project, providing ample opportunity for internal growth. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
