Normandy - 1st Class Pipefitter

With over 20 years of experience, our reach spans across the globe. **Why Work Here?** · **Green Company:** We are committed to sustainability, using electric arc furnaces to cut emissions and lower our carbon footprint. · **Global Success:** We are experiencing significant success, especially in the UK. · **Comprehensive Benefits:** Enjoy 3 weeks of PTO, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, and a 401k match. · **Career Advancement:** Opportunities for career advancement into a foreman role and pay raises. · **Work Environment:** Work in a climate-controlled, organized shop with most tools provided by the company. · **Growing Team:** We are expanding rapidly and will be hiring 200+people, including fitters, welders, and electricians. **Responsibilities:** · Install, assemble, and maintain large industrial piping systems. · Read and interpret blueprints, datum lines, reference points, or center guides. · Prep, bevel, cut, and tack weld on carbon steel. · Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards. · Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently. **Requirements:** · Minimum of 3 years (ideally 5+ years) of experience pipefitting in an industrial setting. · Experience with industrial work and large pipe systems. · Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. · Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures. · Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. · Proficiency in shop math for measuring, cutting, and fitting pipe. **Disqualifications:** · Experience limited only to trade education or residential work (e.g., PVC or fire sprinklers). **Interview Process:** 1. **Phone Screening:** A 10-minute phone screen to discuss your ability to read blueprints, datum lines, reference or center guides, and your experience with prepping, beveling, cutting, and tack welding on carbon steel. 2. **In-Person Interview/Plant Tour:** Includes a 6G pipefitting test where you will prep, cut, bevel, and tack a 6 or 8-inch carbon steel pipe at a 45-degree angle. **How to Apply:** Interested?
