North Lab Technician
Job Title: North Lab Technician

Job Description

The Lab Technician is primarily responsible for performing various routine bacteriological, chemical, and analytical tests on ingredients, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with all company and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include executing microbiological testing procedures, analytical testing and wet chemistry analysis (including pH, salts, viscosity, fats, moisture), stability testing, environmental monitoring, water testing, and sensory programs for finished products. Additional duties involve coordinating the storage, organization, and shipment of finished product samples, maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments, developing quality assurance testing methods, coordinating external lab testing programs, and supporting customer complaint investigations. The role also includes maintaining organization and cleanliness in the FSQ Lab area and managing sample retain inventory.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Germantown, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

Food Manufacturing Facility and Micro & Chemistry Lab. 90% of the day will be spent in the lab performing analysis. The team of 4 lab techs will test on average 1,200 samples per day across all shifts. A company uniform, including blue pants, shirt, and lab coat, will be provided.
