Helpmates Staffing is looking for a First Article QC Inspector II. You will be required to present a resume and interview in person.

\nMonday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM 
\nTemp-to-hire opportunity. 
\n
\nDuties\n\n\tRecords inspection results in SAP.\n\tPerforms detailed visual and mechanical/dimensional inspection utilizing tools, such as Calipers,\n\tMicrometers, Height Gage, Microscope, etc., on raw materials, detail parts, outside processing, and finished assemblies.\n\t Performs inspections on engineering prototypes and first article samples and generates inspection\n\treports, such as FAI Reports (FAIRs).\n\tReview Customer Specifications, Drawings, and quality notes from purchase orders.\n\tContinuous Improvement activities.\n\tReliable and flexible to work additional hours on short notice to complete orders and special projects to\n\tmeet customer or internal demands.\n\nJOB SKILLS\n\n\n\tProficiency in MS Office Suite and SharePoint.\n\tKnowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred.\n\tGood knowledge of blueprint reading, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), and ASME Y14.5M\n\tGeneral understanding of Quality Assurance Systems and Applications, such as ISO 9001 or AS9100.\n\tHas the technical knowledge to do the job at a high level of accomplishment.\n\tProduces mostly error-free work the first time with little waste or redone work.\n\tHand agility, coordination, and accuracy.\n\tStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills.\n\tExcellent attention to detail.\n\tAbility to communicate and interface well with the Quality and other departments.\n\tTeam player with excellent communication skills, high ethical standards, and a positive professional image,capable of relating to individuals at all levels of the organization.\n\tAbility to meet challenging time targets to meet customer demands.\n\tWilling to work additional hours on short notice to meet customer or internal demands.\n\nEDUCATION and EXPERIENCE\n\n\n\tA high school diploma or equivalent, e.g., GED, vocational school diploma.\n\t2+ years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector.\n\tGood knowledge of blueprint reading and dimensioning tolerancing per ASME Y14.5M.\n\tExperience completing and reviewing AS9102 FAIR’s at a high level, including Net-Inspect and DISCUS\n\tSoftware.\n\tBackground in aerospace, defense, or cable assembly industries favored.\n\n
\nCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS\n\n\n\tActive IPC-WHMA-A-620 certification preferred.\n\n
\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS\n\n\n\tBasic arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages.\n\tStatistics: Interpret and analyze numerical data using statistical methods.\n\tBasic Geometry: The ability to understand and work with shapes, angles, lines, and planes.\n\n#HSCE
