Helpmates is hiring a Production Technician to transfer products between steps, operate equipment, pack items, and load them into cartons and trailers. Duties include handling materials, moving supplies, monitoring raw materials, and storing finished goods. The role also involves performing quality checks and documenting processes.

\nScheduled: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm 
\nPay Rate: $20/hr. 
\n
\nDuties: \n\n\tPack foodware products, wrap straws, and perform other secondary tasks as per SOPs.\n\tMonitor machines and report issues to Shift Leads.\n\tHandle materials to keep the process moving, including chipboard setup and pallet transfers.\n\tKeep workstation clean and organized.\n\tPerform daily safety checks and preventative maintenance.\n\tMonitor and document machine conditions, downtime, and scrap.\n\tReport inventory data daily.\n\tActively participate in process improvement activities and meetings.\n\tEngage in cross-training for team efficiency.\n\tAdapt quickly to changing customer needs.\n\n
\nRequirements \n\n\n\tGood hand dexterity for packing small foodware items.\n\tMust consistently meet safety standards.\n\tWilling to work under Food Grade GMP rules.\n\tBasic math skills for data collection and accurate packing.\n\tAbility to learn various tasks and work well in a team.\n\tWillingness to perform routine maintenance on equipment.\n\tHigh school diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of related experience.\n\tMust be able to meet schedule requirements, including overtime.\n\tMust speak, read, and write English; Spanish is a plus.\n\tForklift license required; training will be provided.\n\tAbility to lift up to 20 lbs.\n\nIf you have experience, please submit your resume and send us a text at 562-402-3432 to let us know you're interested.
