**Job Title - Manager (Custom Garage, Closet, and Epoxy Flooring Installation)** **Job Type:** Permanent / Full-time **Location:** Urbandale, Iowa **Shift:** Monday - Friday / 1st shift **Job Purpose:** Seeking a dedicated and hands-on **Construction Service Manager** to oversee installation and service activities for custom remodel work involved in garage/closet remodeling along with epoxy flooring installation. This role is key to ensuring an exceptional client experience while maintaining an efficient and profitable service department. The Service Manager will be responsible for managing installation and service work, supervising technicians, and ensuring that the department operates safely, efficiently, and within budget. This is a dynamic leadership role that will require direct involvement with both the team and the clients. **Primary Responsibilities:** + **Installation & Service Work:** Perform installation and service work as needed to meet client needs and project timelines. + **Team Leadership:** Hire, train, supervise, and lead a team of technicians to maintain high service standards. + **Process Improvement:** Analyze and document current operational processes, with a focus on continuous improvement. + **Service Quality:** Set and uphold a professional level of service to ensure client satisfaction and operational excellence. + **Customer Relations:** Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing any questions, concerns, or issues promptly and professionally. + **Client Communication:** Regularly communicate with clients before, during, and after installations or service visits to ensure clear expectations and outstanding service. + **Equipment Maintenance:** Coordinate the proper maintenance and care of vehicles, tools, and equipment. **Requirements:** + **Experience:** 5+ years of construction work experience, preferably in a construction management role within carpentry, remodeling, or concrete. + **Leadership Skills:** Proven ability to lead a team and maintain a positive work environment. + **Communication:** Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. + **Driver’s License:** Valid driver’s license and insurability required. + **Vehicle Operation:** Experience in driving trucks and pulling trailers is required. + **Physical Demands:** Ability to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally and up to 30 lbs frequently. + **Tools Experience:** Experience using basic hand and power tools. + **Work Schedule:** Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM. **Benefits for Full-Time Employees:** + **Health Insurance:** Company pays 50% of the single premium. + **Dental & Vision Insurance:** Employee-paid options available. + **Life Insurance:** Company-paid life insurance policy. + **Paid Holidays:** 7 paid holidays per year. + **Paid Time Off (PTO):** Generous paid time off to maintain a work-life balance. + **401K:** Company match available to help you plan for the future. **Why Work with Us?** We pride ourselves on our commitment to customer satisfaction and our positive company culture.
