Join a Walk-In Care team committed to customer service and patient-centered care. This continually growing clinic provides healthcare services to a variety of patients in both the Walk-In Care and Family Medicine settings. With the added convenience of Lab, Radiology and Therapy Services on-site, your acute care patients will receive care in a timely and efficient manner. The NP/PA will collaborate with a great group of fellow advanced practice clinicians, physicians and support staff. Candidate will be required to rotate among other area walk-in campuses for coverage (ND & MN licensure and DEA required.)
Must be able to care for all ages within scope of practice. Experience in family medicine, walk-in care, emergency medicine or urgent care setting is preferred!0.9 FTE, full-time status (36 patient contact hours a week; paid hourly)12-hour shifts during the week; typically, 3 days per week and rotating every 4th weekend (4 days the week of weekend coverage)Walk-in care patient hours are Monday- Friday from 8:00am to 7:30pm, Saturdays from 9am-4:30pm and Sundays from 12pm-4:30pm.Patient volume from 25-35 per 12-hr shiftEPIC electronic medical recordGreat team with strong mentorsND & MN licensure and DEA required for cross coverage at other Walk-In ClinicsThe Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision- making skills, the NP/PA works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. NP/PAs provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
