Position Overview:
The NPI Product Lead – Sensors and Switches is a\nsenior role responsible for overseeing and driving the success of the company’s\nproducts. This position combines deep product knowledge with strategic\noversight, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance product\nperformance, meet market demands, and support overall business objectives.

Work\nSchedule: 3/2 hybrid work schedule after your 1st 90 days with\nHoneywell
Products\nthat you will support: sensors and switches for heavy duty, offroad, and\nrecreational vehicles
Ideal Candidate:
Experience managing NPI\n projects and leading cross-functional teams.Technical knowledge\n related to product development and introduction processes.Ability to interpret\n market data and translate it into actionable strategies.Ability to collaborate\n effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.Proficiency with project\n management and product management tools.Proactive approach to\n addressing and resolving issues.Key Responsibilities:
NPI Project Management: Lead or supervise new product\nintroduction process. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the\ntimely and successful launch of new products.
Strategic Planning: Support strategies for new\nproduct introductions that align with market needs and business goals. Provide\ninsights and recommendations based on market research and competitive analysis.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with\nR&D, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure\nalignment and integration of new products. Facilitate effective communication\nand resolve any issues that arise.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical support and\nguidance throughout the NPI process. Address complex technical issues and\nensure that new products meet quality and performance standards.
Product Validation: Support product testing and\nvalidation activities to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory\nrequirements. Identify and address any issues that arise during testing.
Market Readiness: Collaborate with marketing and\nsales teams ensure that new products are well-positioned in the market and\nsupported with appropriate training and materials.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive\ndocumentation related to new product introductions. Prepare and present reports\non project status, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations.
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with\ncustomers and stakeholders to gather feedback on new products. Utilize feedback\nto drive product improvements and enhance customer satisfaction.
Issue Resolution: Proactively identify potential\nissues during the NPI phase and develop solutions to address them. Implement\nstrategies to prevent future issues and ensure a smooth product launch.
Must Haves:
5-7 years of experience in\n product management, new product introduction, or a related roleStrong thoughtful and\n problem-solving skills Excellent strategic\n thinking and decision-making abilities Proven track record of\n successfully developing and launching offerings Ability to influence and\n negotiate with stakeholders at all levels Excellent communication\n and people-oriented skillsWe Value:
