JOB SUMMARY

Entry to developing individual contributor in a scientific/technology field. Builds front-line initiatives for mechanical engineering schematics, solutions, and subsequent comprehensive supply chain outputs, as well as associated key performance metrics, goals, and objectives. Works collaboratively with management to drive decisions regarding mechanical engineering layouts and methods to produce customer-tailored engineering final deliverables.

DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and apply key problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve basic-to-complex issues in critical production processes, helping the company run more efficiently.Perform engineering analysis and testing of new product designs, assembly and test processesDevelop tools, jigs and fixtures for test and assembly of our ground-breaking arrhythmia cathetersCreate preliminary sketches of design conceptsCreate technical 2D drawings for mechanical components per ASME Y14.5 or electrical schematics per IEEEPerform measurements and analysis, build engineering samples, develop and complete engineering testingDesign DOEs, write test protocols (e.g., characterization, benchtop, VV, pre-clinical), implement testing and generate engineering test reportsSupport technical reviews (design reviews, technical assessments)Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management levelIdentifies, designs and develops vital equipment related to new product assembly and testing processPerforms equipment verification and validationStudies the existing processes to implement improvements on new productsResponsible for creating and establishing equipment specificationsAssists technicians and engineers about unusual problems to find root cause and a mitigation to the problemResponsible for procuring and designing equipment that meets safety and environment requirementsPerforms activities of process/product validationPerforms statistical analysis using Minitab or similar softwareCan supervise, coordinate, and technically revise the work of a limited group of technicians.Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good conditionResponsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and proceduresCarries out ad-hoc tasks as the need arises

Additional Information:

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $34-$43 / hr.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

•This position is overtime eligible.

•Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company-sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
