Caterpillar Inc. seeks NPI Team Leader at its facility located at 100 NE Adams St, Peoria, IL 61629.
Job Duties: Provide direct support for Caterpillar’s ground engaging Tools 3rd Party Bucket Manufacturers participating in the Cat GET Licensing Program globally and complete related special projects as assigned. Work includes supporting product price reviews (internal and external), review product profitability, analyze competitive environment and administration and evaluation of current and future products, analyze revenue contribution from volume, POPS-C and price. Responsible for championing the CAT GET Licensing Program and support organizations by providing training and strategy leadership. Deliver cross vertical aftermarket transformation commitments. Work collaboratively with 3rd Party Bucket Manufacturers, Machine Business Divisions, Global the Aftermarket Services Division, and the Product Support and Logistics Division to grow the aftermarket parts business profitably. Be the brand advocate for CAT GET and ensure proper branding of all aftermarket components. Lead teams to execute the aftermarket projects to drive profit.
Requirements: This position requires a bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering, Business, Accounting, or a related field and 8 Years of experience as an NPI, 6 Sigma, product engineer or related occupation. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Data analysis in Excel or other programs such as Power BI; (2) Mining product support in the field; (3) Product applications, dealer networks, merchandising programs, or warranty practices and procedures; (4) New Introduction Program and 6 Sigma Project Management; (5) Third party Bucket Original Component Manufacturer support; and (6) 3rd Party Bucket Original Component Manufacturer Support Experience. Telecommuting: 2 days/week. Travel: 50% Domestic / International.
