Main goal:
Responsible to design, validate, implement and sustain test systems; including documentation, training and statistical process control. An Engineer seeks and promotes the continuous improvement and automation of the test processes on current and transfers businesses.Responsible to seek new technologies for the implementation of the processes linked to I4.0.
Job Responsibilities and authority:
1 Develops test process complying with customer requirements, quality and product specifications to comply with Start of Production dates and safety linked to all new programs (NPIs) and product transfers (STPs)
2 Responsible for creating test standard procedures based on design test specifications and support focus factory units to eliminate or reduce downtime on NPIs and STPs
3 Develops a comprehensive troublehsooting and root cause analysis guide for common electrical test failures on NPIs and STPs
4 Test equipment and automation development/improvement (software and hardware) and implementation of tests fixtures with proper guarding to eliminate or reduce any risks and keeping track of development according to budget.
5 Develop TPM program (Total Productive Maintenance) and assure correct implementation of new or modified test equipment to reduce down times for NPIs and STPs.
6 Executes test validation methods to meet quality test specifications for NPIs and STPs such as MSA validation studies on equipment according to AIAG guidelines.
7 Develops testint requirements for the product design teams to ensure best cycle times and First Pass Yield as well as training materials for test operators and technicians.
8 Develops and implements improvement solutions based on Industry 4.0 with an automotive mindset. This includes evaluation and implementation of new test echnologies available.
9 Participates during layout changes to accommodate new or modified test devices for NPIs and STPs.
10 Generates safety assessments and JSA/MOC (Job Safety Analysis and Management of Change) for test equipment related to NPIs and STPs
11 Identify electrical drops, load requirements and other energy related drops (air, vacuum, etc.) needed for the implementation of test equipment.
12 Transfers new or modified test devices, software or accessories for NPIs and STPs to the supporting test engineering team including electrical diagrams, troubleshooting guides, maintenance procedures, APQP documentation, JSAs, HOEs and all test documentation required.

Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or similarYears and area of experience required:
1-3 years of experience (preffered) on building electronic products.Experience/knowledge with process and equipment validation, PFEMA, process flow, APQP, etc.Competencies required:
