Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Tubular Products – Birmingham is seeking to fill the position of Maintenance Engineer. The Maintenance Engineer will support the production and maintenance teams in the maintenance (predictive, preventative, and corrective), operation, and upgrade of various assets to include; power transmission equipment, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, pump networks, manufacturing equipment, and plant infrastructure in a heavy industrial environment. The Maintenance Engineer will work closely with Maintenance and Operations teams providing technical expertise and optimizing our operations.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, scheduled and unscheduled overtime. Four-year Engineering Degree Must have leadership experience Preferred Qualifications: PMP Certified Experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment Equipment upgrade, installation, and commissioning experience Proficient in CMMS systems and best practice maintenance processes Strong technical background in operations and maintenance
