Job Description

Under the direction of QA/Sanitation, the Sanitation Lead will be responsible for ensuring the completion of daily data collection and trending, and administrative and leadership tasks to support the sanitation team. This position will be responsible for using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Minitab and Outlook daily. The specific duties may include, but limited to the following:

Partner with sanitation supervisors to oversee, manage, and develop hourly team members Day-to-day data collection, entry, trending, and analysis of environmental monitoring program including micro testing and analysis Manage the department’s budget and ordering of chemicals and supplies Build relationships and communicate with our suppliers and 3rd party servicing companies Hold & lead meetings with corporate, supplier, and plant personnel Partner with supervisors to identify sanitation improvements, project/budget savings, and provide continuous improvement for the program Report and present material to Plant Personnel Audit and monitor the departments tasks to ensure compliance to plant quality policies, HACCP, USDA, and 3rd Party Certifications Provide leadership and training for team members to complete production line and facility sanitation as required by the Master Sanitation Schedule, Daily Tasks, Maintenance Work Schedule, and Production Schedule Maintain and update sanitation documentation and procedures in accordance with new equipment, cleaning procedures, or chemicals Work with chemical supplier to provide chemical handling training Oversee and maintain storage acid cage, chemical storage, and sanitation supply area Participate in audits and plant trials Troubleshoot equipment, tools, and chemical dispensing station

Provide support to sanitors who need additional training and guidance

Any additional administrative support and duties assigned

Qualifications:

Must have a good working knowledge of the Coshocton plant and its processes Must have good essential knowledge and skills of chemical safety. Sanitation experience is preferred. Must have excellent planning, organizational and work management skills Must possess and demonstrate good safety & quality orientation, attention to detail, work standards, and adhere to all GMPs Must be comfortable coaching, teaching, and speaking to larger groups Able to work other shifts when needed and be flexible to complete the job tasks

Overtime will be required and is essential for this job as well as working a flexible schedule to support the sanitation team and supervisors on 3rd shift

Currently hiring for second shift position. Pay Rate from $25.00- $27.00

Work Schedule: 

·         8-hour shifts – Mon-Fri
