Nuclear Design Modification Engineers (Electrical, Mechanical, or Structural)

System One is seeking skilled Nuclear Design Modification Engineers with expertise in Mechanical, Electrical I&C, or Structural/Civil disciplines. This is a two-year, onsite contract role based in Columbia, AL, supporting the development of design modification packages for an existing power generation facility. Qualified candidates should have recent experience in commercial nuclear design modifications. Per diem and mobilization/demobilization support are available, where applicable.

Responsibilities: 

Design and analysis of changes to existing power plants as well as new plant systems. Perform calculations, develop isometrics, and provide design recommendations, specifications, and design change packages

Qualifications/Requirements:

BS in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil/Structural Engineering from ABET accredited university required. Minimum of 3 years commercial nuclear design modification experience, developing design modification packages, including calcs, specs, and analysis.  Recent experience working under design standard IP-ENG-001. Strong computer knowledge of Microsoft Office, and CAD Software. Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. (i.e. without the need for work sponsorship now or in the future)
