Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity. **_Job Summary_** Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for cost of production activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety engagement, and environmental commitment. Production Operation Supervisor operates light-duty bench- or floor-type machine tools and automation equipment. May set up machining machines and adjust and perform maintenance on machines. Checks work using prescribed gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances. Some machines may be numerically controlled. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. **_What a Supervisor, Nuclear Manufacturing role contributes to Cardinal Health_** Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for developing manufacturing processes, production floor layouts and associated tools. Reviews new designs for manufacturability. Designs process improvements to reduce product cost, process cycle time and improved product quality. **_Shift/Schedule_** + 40 hours weekly + Monday - Friday + 3:00pm - 11:30pm + Must be flexible to work other hours and days as needed **_Responsibilities_** + Supervises Manufacturing staff and oversees daily activities, and production schedules as it pertains to those delivery systems. + Trains, coaches, mentors, develops, and provides direction to staff + Conducts performance appraisals for direct reports. + Works with EHS and RSO to adhere to Radiation Safety Program (Best Practices and Policies) + Acts as liaison to ensure and take an active role in developing and maintaining positive working relationships with customers, suppliers, and corporate contacts through regular interactions. + Administers and exercises policies and procedures ensuring internal quality and regulatory standards are maintained at or above an acceptable level. + Ensures positive working relationships with all CAH employees through regular interactions, team building, and active listening + Ensures employees operate within guidelines and ensures operational procedures are followed with and adhere to federal, state, local, and company regulations. + Operates under well-controlled and closely monitored conditions (GMP), which are highly regulated by State and Federal agencies and internal quality and regulatory professionals. **_Qualifications_** + 4-8 years of experience, preferred + Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred + Experience with cGMP required + Aptitude for supervisory skills + Proven customer service skills + Ability to negotiate, influence, and resolve customer/employee problems or conflicts to meet the needs of external and internal customers + Ability to be innovative in troubleshooting complex problems + Ability to promote teamwork within manufacturing location and region by treating staff members with respect. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Flexibility to work various shifts and rotate schedules + Comfortable working in a nuclear environment + Experience with formulation and filling required _Candidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply._ _Cardinal Health supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience and background.
