Responsibilities

CHI St. Alexius is looking for a Part Time Nuclear Med Tech to join the team!

Provides Technical expertise in Nuclear Medicine procedures in accordance with the mission and philosophy of CHI St Alexius Health

What You'll Do:Performs quality assurance checks on equipment and procedure areasEnsures proper safety standards are metOperates equipment necessary to produce scans under establisher guideline and protocolsProperly identifies and explains procedures to each patientPrepares and positions patient for procedures by establisher NM protocols to achieve the highest quality imageAssists in maintaining supply inventoryParticipates in on-going improvement efforts and completes competencies as required

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine, Board Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Experience: Clinical experience as obtained during Nuclear Medicine and Radiologic Technology schooling. May cross-train as allowed by the NDMIRTB Administrative rules

Licensure: Registered Radiologic with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and the ND state NDMIRT.  Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.

Prefer two years’ experience as a nuclear medicine technologist, to include handling radioactive materials.

Preference given to registered Nuclear Medicine applicants
