Summary
Performs diagnostic Nuclear Medicine examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician. Direct patient responsibility for geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and neonatal patient care until the patient is returned to his/her room or until outpatient is discharged. Directly responsible for clinical training of University of Findlay students. Directly responsible for PET scan documentation and coordination of schedules. Directly responsible for all Gamma probe studies.
QualificationsPosition Qualifications:
(including required licensure/certifications, education and job knowledge / experience)
Minimum: Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program. Thorough knowledge of Nuclear Medicine in all forms of diagnostic, therapy procedures, terminology, practice, procedure, physiology and human anatomy.
Preferred: Associates or Bachelor’s in Nuclear Medicine.
Other Qualifications: American Heart Association BLS card, National Registry NMTCB, ARRT & Florida State Nuclear license.
