Nuclear Medicine Tech

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals under the supervision of the authorized user and operating radio isotopic detector equipment to produce photoscans of designated areas of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. In Cardiology Services, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist serves adult and geriatric patients.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program. Certified, or eligible for certification, by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board,  OR Registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or registry eligible, through American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT). Certified in cardio?pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).Registered as a CT Technologist for sites with PETCT and/or SPECTCT within 90 day probationary period.Minimum of one year experience; three to five year of experience is preferred.
