Job Summary: + Great working environment in a PET/CT and SPECT/CT outpatient department + University Radiology Associates, LLP., located at 550 Harrison Center, Syracuse, N.Y. + No PET experience necessary will train + No weekends or call + Performs all duties with hybrid imaging in a PET/CT and SPECT/CT outpatient department + Calculates, orders, administers and records radioactive isotopes + Instructs patients on proper exam preparation + Verify physician orders for procedures as well as properly identifying patient + Performs all required quality control procedures + Maintains compliance with continuing education requirements + We have a wonderful opportunity for a Nuclear Medicine Tech to sit for the NMTCB(CT) boards, as a student, enrolled with our College of Health Professions Minimum Qualifications: CNMT or ARRT(N) and NYS DOH (Nuclear Medicine) License. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required. NO PET experience necessary, will train.
