Our Nuclear Medicine Technologist positions are critical to the success of Mark Twain Medical Center and require the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health. It is expected that our employees demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values.
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist perform imaging procedures and computer analysis for medical diagnosis under the direction of the Radiologist/Medical Director and in accordance with established departmental procedures.

Experience:
Must be currently registered and certified with the State of California Radiologic Health Branch and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or must be registry eligible by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) Must be CPR certified.
Minimum Requirement:
Minimum of one-year clinical experience in a hospital nuclear medicine department.Preferred one year Pet/CT experienceEducation:
High School graduate Satisfactory completion of an AMA approved program in Nuclear Technology.Special skills:
Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine procedures and techniques Understanding of current ethics, laws, and regulations Understanding of nuclear medicine theory and procedures, safe handling and disposal of radioactive materials Understanding of current ethics, laws, and regulations Requires minimal supervision and interaction in day-to-day fulfillment of job responsibility Demonstrates a quality attitude toward patient care
