Under the indirect supervision of the attending physicians, performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. The Nuclear Medicine Technologists maps radiopharmaceuticals using a camera, measures radioactivity using Geiger counters, monitors wipe tests and dose calibrations, and administers radionuclide dosages. This position reports to the department Manager or Director of Imaging Services and is responsible for observing all radiation safety regulatory requirements.

Required qualifications:
Coursework/Training and Successfully completed a program in radiological technology. Upon hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Or Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Upon hire: California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart AssociationPreferred qualifications:
