Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for providing services in the Medical Center's Nuclear Medicine department. These responsibilities include preparation of radiopharmaceuticals and monitoring equipment. Responsibilities + Prepare radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear medicine procedures. + Monitor and operate nuclear medicine equipment. + Ensure the safety and accuracy of radioactive materials used in procedures. + Follow established protocols and safety standards. + Work collaboratively with other medical staff to provide comprehensive patient care. Essential Skills + Nuclear Medicine + Nuclear Medicine Technology + Radioisotope handling + AART certification + NMTCB or ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine + Minimum 2 years of experience in a related role + New York State Department of Health License or eligibility Additional Skills & Qualifications + CT certification (preferred) + Associates degree in Nuclear Medicine or graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine certificate program + Experience in the field is a plus, but new graduates are welcome + Licensure in NYS NM, or CT Work Environment This role is on-site. The work environment includes the use of advanced nuclear medicine technology and equipment, requiring adherence to safety protocols and standards.
