Join our team as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist II, where you will be responsible for performing a wide range of Nuclear Medicine examinations on patients of all ages. This includes utilizing advanced imaging equipment such as SPECT-CT, Gamma Cameras, Thyroid Probe, and PET-CT with Diagnostic CT, and, when applicable, PET-MR systems. Your role will encompass organ imaging, function studies, computer analysis, and assisting physicians in the therapeutic administration of radioisotopes under prescribed conditions. Your expertise will contribute to the comprehensive care of our patients and advance our diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities in nuclear medicine. Our Nuclear Medicine department includes the following: PET/CT (Biograph 600), SPECT/CT (Symbia Intevo Bold) cardiac stress testing, and radioimmunotherapy suite. As a successful candidate, you will: 

·         Performs a variety of diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures, for patients of all ages, that requires the safe and effective use of radionuclides

·         Utilize safe techniques to include protective shielding and prescribe safety standards for the preparation and handling of radioactive sources

·         Maintain records of radioisotope receipt, use, storage and disposal in accordance with state and federal regulations governing the accountability for radioactive materials

Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program3+ years in Nuclear Medicine as a Nuclear Med TechnologistCalifornia State Certification in Nuclear Medicine AND Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (CNMT) or R.T. (N) (ARRT) Certification in Computed Tomography ARRT (CT) (highly preferred) BLS
