Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Inland Cardiology

Under the general direction of the Practice Administrator/Practice Manager, performs a number of tasks in the areas of patient care, technical skills, and administration including, but not limited to: Prepares, measures, and administers radiopharmaceuticals in diagnostic and therapeutic studies, utilizing a variety of equipment and following prescribed procedures;  Administers radio pharmaceuticals under the direction of a physician:  Images patients with a Gamma Camera and processes images through computer usage; and follows radiation safety techniques when disposing radioactive materials.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited or commissioned Nuclear Medicine Program.  Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist  Upon hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Or Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology  Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years Nuclear medicine technologist experience.
