Responsibilities Render direct patient care and imaging services in a safe manner Responsible for all aspects of the Radio pharmacy to include dose preparation, administration, and disposal Utilize various pieces of imaging equipment throughout the hospital, and perform quality control of each Use various hospital computer systems to include but not limited to NMIS, PACS, RIS as part of normal day-to-day activities Maintain and document all records as required by NRC and DEP Operate each gamma camera with confidence and competence Assist physician in performing procedures, and computer enhancement of images Utilize aseptic techniques, and demonstrate ability to perform intravenous injections Consult with patients to obtain a complete clinical history Monitor and record all radioactive materials received in the department for leakage or damage Perform any and all other duties as assigned Qualifications Job Requirements: Be a graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program NJDEP license ARRT or NMTCB registry BLS certification Preferred Job Requirements: 5+ years of clinical experience in a hospital setting as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, as well as experience with PET/CT
