We are looking for a proactive Nuclear Project Engineer to join our team of expert engineers in Cernay, Alsace!
You will be responsible for the technical aspects of the nuclear projects within valves/ actuators/ instruments and ensures the technical follow-up. You provide support and expertise to internal operational teams, as well as to customers, suppliers and final users of our nuclear equipment.
In this role, your responsibilities will be:
To provide required information to Sales dpt. to prepare proposals (technical data, time required). Offer expertise in response to technical issues during the quotation phase (product obsolescence, complex technical requirements, justification of choices). Analyze the technical and documentary impact and propose solutions to meet requirements Select and size nuclear equipment (valves, instruments and actuators). Demonstrate the selection conformity to customers. Coordinate and lead the meetings, internally and/or externally with the customer, to communicate on the technical points of the Customer Specifications and coordinate the resulting actions. Analyze malfunctions encountered on operating sites, as reported by the Nuclear Services department, the Nuclear PMO department or directly by the customer, and write expert’s reports.Who you are:

For this role you will need:
A technical background in mechanical engineering and fluid/flow control or equivalent experience Proficiency in both English and French. Experience with dealing and drafting mechanical, electrical or pneumatic drawings.Preferred qualifications that set you apart:
Knowledge of the nuclear environment and different reactor designs/technologies. Experience with codes and standards related to the nuclear industry or pressure equipment. Knowledge of the various processes used to manufacture components for nuclear valves (casting, forging, machining, hard-facing and surface treatment, etc.).Our Offer to You:
