Amentum is seeking a Nuclear Safety Engineering Supervisor in our Aiken, SC office. Position will be responsible for technical/operational leadership of a project/mission within the programmatic guidelines set by the program manager and customer. Defines, generates, and reviews project requirements documentation. Performs technical studies to refine project requirements. Monitors project to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained. Provides the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received. May conduct performance/project analyses during phase-down to benefit future/other projects/missions/programs. Fully versed in the process of preparing and checking of calculations as well as the approval, revision, retention and storage of calculations within a specific discipline. Fully versed in interpreting codes and standards as it relates to a specific discipline. Ensures quality, quantity and completeness of the assigned engineering tasks. Familiar with business development concepts and provides support to proposals. Able to lead the development of manpower, man-hour, and labor cost requirements for a project and can monitor the effect of these on the budget Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested. Minimum Requirements: 8+ years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree; or 5+ years of relevant experience with a Master's degree Experience leading, mentoring, and/or delegating the work of others.
