Position Specific Description
This position supports NRC level exam planning, development and delivery, NRC interactions, simulator operations as well as maintaining a general oversight of Operations Training programs across the fleet. This is a One Fleet One team position seated at our Jupiter West office in Jupiter, Florida.
Job OverviewThis job ensures that the development and implementation of training programs comply with approved fleet training procedures. Job holders plan, coordinate and supervise\ all activities associated with the development and implementation of the auxiliary operator, reactor operator, senior reactor operator, and shift technical advisor programs.
Job Duties & Responsibilities Supervises the planning and execution of operations training programs Provides instructor supervision and development Coordinates training plans with operations management, Emergency Planning, and others in the training organization Participates in the Training Review Committee agenda and activity Serves as a member of the Training Department Leadership Team Acts as a liaison with the operations department to provide internal customer service, review lesson plans, maintain quality instructional delivery and comply with departmental requirements Implements approved procedures and policies to ensure compliance with company standards, NRC regulations, INPO accreditation criteria, and other codes, standards and regulatory requirements Performs other job-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications High School Grad / GED Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience Experience: 6+ years Nuclear Experience: 6+ years Senior Reactor Operator Certification Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's - Engineering SRO License - Active, Inactive, or Prior Special RequirementsNuclear Specific Requirements:
Bachelor's in Physical Science, Engineering, Engineering Technology or equivalent education and/or experience Experience with NRC initial license operator exam processes Experience with the Systematic Approach to Training Commercial nuclear power training or operations experience: 6+ years Operations INPO accredited program management and NRC initial license operator exam process experience
