WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Numerical Control Programmer Senior, you will be a key contributor in advancing aeronautical manufacturing. Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing and writing programs for numerically controlled machines using engineering specifications and drawings.
• Analyzing engineering drawings to define part configurations and determining the type and sequence of machine operations.
• Creating programs for machining parts, tools, or sheet metal on numerically controlled machine tools.
• Making proper cutter selections for each part while considering speeds, feeds, and control system limitations.
• Selecting program routines for efficient computer calculation of dimensional and machining requirements for each part.
• Testing and modifying existing part programs for engineering changes or improvements.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
