Responsibilities and Duties + Implement education programs for Certified Nursing Assistants + Create a lesson plan for the Nurse Aide Training Program that includes classroom and clinical training combined for at least 100 hours duration + Teach the Nurse Aide Certification course + Coordinate students’ clinical and classroom experiences within the facility · Complete each nurse aide trainee’s performance record of major duties and skills learned and demonstrated Qualifications and Skills Skills we are looking for: + Enthusiasm and eagerness to teach + Clinical competency with basic nursing care + Ability to work independently and anticipate educational need with motivation to start education + Eagerness to learn new skills and participate in the Train the Trainer programs Requirement/Qualifications: + 1-year experience in Long-term care + Current NYS Registered Professional Nurse + CPR certified Benefits What we offer: + Train the Trainer program for NYS DOH Certified Nursing Assistant program + Training for education initiatives + Ongoing training programs + Opportunity to advance with your career.
