Nurse Assistant NAR

Avalon Health and Rehabilitation Center in Pasco is looking for qualified candidates who have an active NAR, completed CNA courses and clinicals to join our team as a Nursing Assistant. Work as a Nursing Assistant while you wait for your CNA license to become active.  

 

Starting at $20.18 per hour

PRN shifts

Full-time are eligible for:

Part-time are eligible for all of the above except Medical. On Call are not eligible for any of the above except 401k

Responsibilities

The Nurse Assistants will perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel and will assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents. The expectation is to complete your certification soon to continue to work for us as Certified Nursing Assistants.

Qualifications Must have current NAR certification, CNA courses and clinicals completed. Must obtain CNA license in 120 days of hire. Must have ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job. Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families and to work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors. Must be willing to assist others, including co-workers. Must pass criminal background investigation, reference inquiry, and vaccine mandate attestation requirements of either having been vaccinated or present documentation needed for a medical or religious exemption.
