Responsibilities
This Regional Float Cath Lab RN position allows us to expedite our responsiveness to our facilities with the greatest staffing needs by deploying qualified clinicians who know our policies, procedures and core values. This position would float between Cath Labs at Mercy Council Bluffs, Immanuel, & Lakeside while earning a 25% hourly differential.
The Cath Lab Nurse is responsible for the safe care of patients undergoing Procedures. The duties include administration and monitoring of moderate sedation, assisting with airway management, hemodynamic monitoring and management of critical care infusions. Ability to respond to emergency situations and assists with the triage of inpatients and the daily procedural flow to insure optimal efficiencies.
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible to access, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care to a designated group of healthcare consumers across the continuum. Provide services which encompass the spiritual, physiological, social and psychological aspects of care of the sick, prevention of disease, or conversation of health. Qualifications
We are looking for a responsible and compassionate Registered Nurse with top-notch clinical skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. It is also important to display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to effectively educate patients and their families on the in-home healthcare process.
Graduate of an RN nursing program.Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state.Graduate of an accredited nursing program.Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact.Basic life support is required upon hire.ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required within 5 months of hire. Other credentials may be needed based on the level of care RN floats to.12-18 months of experience preferred.
