Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a talented Nurse Clinician/Educator to join the team. The incumbent will demonstrate a high level of expertise in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of complex patients and their responses to actual or potential health problems, assists the health care team with the prevention of illness and injury, maintenance of wellness, and provision of comfort; provide direction, education, leadership and accountability for program development, implementation and evaluation in area of responsibility. Area of responsibility includes professional development and empowerment of staff as well as management of resources to promote desired outcomes with attention to quality, efficiency and cost.

Qualifications and Skills

5+ years nursing experience providing care in either an acute care or inpatient rehab facilities. 1 year one year experience in the position’s specialty patient population or practice setting preferred Previous experience in an Advance Practice Nursing or Clinical Leadership position preferred

 Education and Certifications

Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field preferred Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required RN - Licensed Registered Nurse, in good standing AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) preferred
